Kinka Beach Masterplan Flood Impact Assessment
Stephens Consulting Engineers was engaged to undertake a Flood Impact Assessment and stormwater investigation for a significant master planned residential development at Kinka Beach on Queensland’s Capricorn Coast. The project required detailed hydraulic modelling to assess existing flood behaviour across the site and identify potential impacts associated with the proposed development footprint.
The assessment included flood level and hazard mapping, flood storage investigations, basin design review and evaluation of development layout options to ensure compliance with local planning requirements. Toobeah, Queensland
Agricultural Infrastructure Forensic Assessment
Stephens Consulting Engineers was engaged to undertake a forensic engineering assessment of irrigation and water management infrastructure across five large scale agricultural properties located west of Goondiwindi near Toobeah, Queensland. The project was commissioned to identify, map and quantify infrastructure works undertaken over an extended period using historical datasets and engineering analysis.
The assessment involved detailed review of aerial photography, LiDAR surveys, GIS data and historical records spanning more than fifteen years. Infrastructure including reservoirs, levees, irrigation channels, drainage systems, pipelines and pumping assets were identified and quantified through advanced spatial analysis techniques. The findings were compiled into a comprehensive technical report to support legal proceedings and provide an independent engineering assessment of historical infrastructure development across the properties.

Tompkins Road Industrial Subdivision Flood Impact Assessment
Stephens Consulting Engineers prepared a detailed Flood Impact Assessment for a proposed industrial subdivision on Tompkins Road in Townsville. The project required comprehensive hydraulic modelling and floodplain analysis to assess existing flood conditions and determine the potential impacts associated with the proposed industrial development.
